Dr. Saly Thomas grew up in Plano, Texas with two younger sisters. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas with Summa Cum Laude honors. She spent a month backpacking through different cities in Mexico before starting her medical degree training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After graduation, she visited Peru with friends and explored South Australia with her family. She then started Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

After residency, Dr. Thomas spent time traveling in Europe with family as well as doing international medical mission work before starting private practice. With her intensive training at Parkland Hospital, she is experienced in high-risk obstetrics as well as gynecologic surgery. She has interest in high-risk obstetrics, irregular menses, abnormal paps, well-woman health maintenance, and laparoscopic/hysteroscopic surgery. She enjoys taking care of women in all stages of life.

Dr. Thomas has recently moved to the Flower Mound office to join this thriving practice. She is excited to establish her practice in this new location and continue doing what she loves.

Dr. Thomas is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board eligible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
